Breathing Quality is the way of life

I dont know what is this particular aspect about the Professionals in the Quality Arena. Most of them, I find, are so much into their profession that they breath, live, speak only Quality. One more aspect is that they just dont stop with only talking about Quality, but live for Evangelizing Quality and take upon themselves to go out and reach all the stakeholders in the society.
Recently I had the privilege of meeting one such person - The passionate Quality Guru Srinivasan Desikan. While continuing his career with HP as Senior Systems Architect, he is also the Adjunct professor at several colleges/universities/institutions to promote Software Testing as a subject.
I went in for Certification of all the QA resources in my company and thus came to know Srinivasan through this process. What a simple man for all his achievements. Not only does he practice, he has also coauthored the book Software Testing - Principles and Practices, which is one of the best sellers and is also becoming the CBook for some of the colleges. For all his achievements, he is such a down to earth person and makes everyone comfortable to talk to him, ask him their doubts, argue with him without any inhibition. It takes a lot of become that affable to most of the people.
A great person indeed. One of the perks of running my company is getting to know such people. May his Quality Journey be a greater journey of Quality consciousness among all practicing professionals.
