Baba Aghar Jitto @ katra
Jitto Baba temple is another famous temple near katra. It's about 6.5 kms ftom katra overlooking the Trikuta mountain range. Aghar Jitto Baba was an ardent devotee of Maa Vaishno Devi. Everyday he used to climb to Trikuta mountain to have Darshan if Maa and worship her and return back to his place which is overlooking the mountain. He used to do this for 16 years without missing even a single day. Pleased with such a devotion Maa Vaishno Devi appeared before him and asked him what he wanted. He said there is no water source in the place where he is and so Maa ensured that Pure water came through to his ashram. His next wish was that - Maa am getting old and will not be able to continue to be climb the Trikuta mountain everyday to have your darshan. So please come and Stay with me forever.
