Rajasthan Tour Diaries Day 5  Travelling from Ranakpur to Udaipur through the Aravalli mountain ranges is a beautiful drive.  And there were a lot of scheduled stops  on the way.  The first such a stop over was at Kumbhalgarh Fort. The Birthplace of Maharana Pratap and an UNESCO site. Called the The India's Great Wall of China this fort and its  protective wall going around 36 kms with the width that can accommodate 5 horses its a engineering marvel of our forefathers.  Also the guide was saying that the Fort was constructed in such a way that it is camouflaged and can be seen only when you are within 400 meters only.  While the larger vehicles are stopped at the bottom, the jeeps takes you up the steep incline and pass through  various gates called pols -  You need to pass the 3rd Pol called Hanuman Pol before you reach the Ram Pol which is the starting point of the Actual Fort.    once you enter the Ram pol, on both sides you have many temples - Ganesh, Maataji, Shiv Maharaj a
