Osian Rajasthan part 2

While part 1 dealt with the town called Osian and Kuldevi Sachchiyay Mataji, this is all about how this place is an happening place as a Adventure tourism town.  The people have made use of Thar Desert and created a wonderful tourist attraction tons eith many Desert safari rides and safari camps. Before I write about the tourism part, let me take you the Rajasthan's famous Step well.  Of course this is an unused well but these step wells were the source of water for people and there were also shops that were there to make the step wells a good connecting neighborhood place.  Even if 1000 people are going to use gge step well at the sane time there will never be a situation where one has to cross the other either while going up or down.  What an ingenious engineering Feat by our ancestors. It is also believed that that there were treasure that they found in this step well which was used to build the maataji temple.  What a beautiful view of the temple from this place. The Adventure

Rajasthan Tour Dairies Day 1  We are starting our Trip from The city of Jodthpur. After reaching the hotel we went for lunch first.  Then we started  our trip to Osian city and to seek the blessings of Sachayay Mata.  Really a divine feeling.  Of course she sits on the hill top and you need to climb about 100 steps to reach the sanctum Santorum.  The temple is more than 300 years old but well maintained. The view from the top is phenomenal.  What an auspicious start to our Rajasthan tour Osian  (also spelt Osiyan) is an ancient town located in the Jodhpur District of Rajasthan state in western India. It is an oasis in the Thar Desert. The town is a panchayat village and the headquarters for Osian tehsil. It lies 69 km (43 mi) by road north of the district headquarters at Jodhpur, on a diversion off the main Jodhpur – Bikaner Highway. The under-construction Amritsar Jamnagar Expressway passes through this town.   An important pilgrimage centre for the Oswal Jain and Maheshwari commu

Mt Kilimanjaro Tanzania

When we were discussing the tour itinerary there was one place people wanted to go that is Mt Kilimanjaro.  Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania.  However from Arusha City where we were staying  its about 3+ hours travel to Moshi town from where we can see the mountain and the last day our flight was at 17.00 hours and so it was impossible for us to take a chance to start early to Moshi but still be back to the airport to catch our flight. but since we left Tanzania through Kilimanjaro airport we could see the famed mountain from air.  Thanks to a clear sky we all could take number of photos too. as usual here is info about the mountain range from Wikipedia  It has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 m (19,341 ft) above sea level and about 4,900 m (16,100 ft) above its plateau base.  It is the highest  volcano in
