A Army veteran, he made sure that he is contributing to the society through his guidance and hardwork. He was solely behind the building up of a Self Sustained Model village - Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills. Prior to having Anna Hazare working along with the villagers, it used to be a poverty clad village.
