Osian Rajasthan part 2

While part 1 dealt with the town called Osian and Kuldevi Sachchiyay Mataji, this is all about how this place is an happening place as a Adventure tourism town.  The people have made use of Thar Desert and created a wonderful tourist attraction tons eith many Desert safari rides and safari camps.

Before I write about the tourism part,let me take you the Rajasthan's famous Step well.  Of course this is an unused well but these step wells were the source of water for people and there were also shops that were there to make the step wells a good connecting neighborhood place.  Even if 1000 people are going to use gge step well at the sane time there will never be a situation where one has to cross the other either while going up or down.  What an ingenious engineering Feat by our ancestors.
It is also believed that that there were treasure that they found in this step well which was used to build the maataji temple.  What a beautiful view of the temple from this place.













The Adventure 

Frm the town there are lots of open jeeps which are modified to seat about 7 people and take them to the sand dunes ( small ones).  There these jeeps go up and down the incline and provide the thrill of jeep safari on the sand dunes.  There are camels which provide you the ride as well as scooty rides and Para gliding  using jeeps on the top of the dunes.  Also you can view the sunset from there.






There are quite a few camp hotels where in the midst of wilderness you have a good set up and the evenings are filled with traditional dance along with authentic Rajasthan food.
