This is what differentiates her from all other people in the Media world - She is a renowned Award winning Actress in our Indian Movie world. But the first woman to Corpartarize her company and make it a big banner is something which is awe inspiring. In a world where your individual talent alone makes you what you, To create a living entity and forging a separate path for you - and at the same time doing your personal professional acting(coming out great at it) - My God what a amassing personality who is forced to wear multiple hats.
My admiration goes for the kind of portrayal she does of a Woman - not just the stereotyped always bearing every injustice with a smile, suffering within herself and trying to win over everybody with her goodness alone - yes there are women like that, but mostly in yesteryears. Today a typical woman is more empowered (almost this is true), stands ups for what she believes and fights against injustice (no dont get me wrong, I dont believe that woman empowerment is to take up the flag of mutiny), but at the same time compramise what is worth compramising for, and also do good to others. This is what I believe every woman should be. And I am happy that Radhikaa portrays such a strong woman in all the serials that she telecasts.
The way she came through today, as a Chief guest in ewit (empowering women in IT) organization's 2nd Anniversary Celebrations, sharing with the audiences what and how she did all these - forced to take tough choices, but putting her foot down when she believed what is the right way to go about and at the same time taking care of her family - Everybody has something to learn some important lessons from her. I liked when she said "At the end of the day, for me what my children think about me is very important" - this is what drives all of us to do what we want to do guiding us to do the right thing all the time.
Radhikaa - I am waiting to see you receive the Best Entrepreneur Award pretty soon. May God be with you in all your endeavours and take you and your family to great heights.
