A tribute to my father
This is my tribute to my father whom I lost this sunday early morning. He lived a great life and passed away very peacefully in his house, his room and on his bed. What more does anyone wish for. Though he was even critical few months back, he was ok and was going about his daily routines within his home.
Coming to the point : More than anything he loved life, loved people, very energetic, and was always looking out for ways and means to help people. Through his Vastu powers there were many a people who had got great benefits - ourselves including!!!.
An avid sportsman himself excelling in both cricket and Table tennis, gave it off because of the work pressure. Here is the article in today's Hindu sports page which details out his sports achievement

Raman (81) passes away
Former State and Railways table tennis star, S. Raman, passed away on April 28. He was 81.
A fluent attacker who always chose to play close to the table playing with utmost felicity on both flanks, Raman represented the State (then Madras) and later Railways both in the national and international events.
Raman is reported to have been the only Indian player to take a game off the Czech master, Ivan Andreadis.
A contemporary of the famous duo, V. Sivaraman and Thiruvengadam, Raman was the elder brother of the two former state players, S. Lakshman (UCO Bank) and S. Bharathan (State Bank).
Raman excelled in cricket also, playing for Bhimenapet RC and Jai Hind CC in the city league.
He was a forceful opening batsman and on off-spinner. After leaving Railways, he worked for Enfield India.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and daughter. — Special Correspondent
