Do we THANK ENOUGH, let alone Thank at all

I liked this article  sent out by Mr  KN Rajan, Pondicherry and wanted to share how we miss out to Thank people, whether it is God, our friends or family or Clients or any one who helps us to go through the challenges in life and succeed in whatever we do - whether it is profesional or personal things.  So let me walk the talk.  First and foremost my thanks to Rajan for sending this article.

Acknowledge your blessings

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.' I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section. The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.'

I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the Door of a very small station to my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the Acknowledgment Section,' my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed 'How is it that there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,’ the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments.'

'How does one acknowledge the blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'O Lord! Let me be grateful to You for all Your blessings upon me

So May I take this opportunity to thank the Great God, all my family members, my fellow ciians, all my clients, my friends, my advisors, my guides, my teachers and all those known and unknown persons who have enabled me to come this far in life, for being with me at all time, supporting me through thick and thin, giving me valuable advice and guidance, sharing my joy and sorrows, whines, my anger, my frustrations, my grumblings, my troubles, etc., etc.  THANK YOU , THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING

Wonderful and thank you for reminding this....Thank you for what you are to this world!

Gratitude had been one of the moral values we were taught as children and slowly somewhere in the cycle of life, people seem to forget it totally...Especially on every Thanksgiving day in US, I wish we too celebrate this in India with great honour, so that atleast one special day we take to thank every thing in our lives, including God, family, friends, associates, country and society at large... We have easily adopted West and its Valentine's day and other things, but somehow, I guess even marketing firms like Archies, Hallmark could not find ways to make it for 'ThanksGiving Day'...only when the merchandise gets into markets, the spirit gets into the minds of people these days...though it is a sad state of affairs.
THANK YOU is a small word with Big wonders, and bigger meanings!
