Part I has crossed over 1500 views within these 2 days.   Oh there  has been a tremendous outpouring of support and wishes from various quarters.  For many it was the first time that they were hearing about my  illness with covid and they were literally shocked.  The main purpose of this detailed writing is to remove the taboo about talking in open about being a Covid patient as well as share my experience so that people can learn from my trails and errors. Before I write in detail I need to first state here that except for my obesity I don't have any other Co- morbidity at all . From my personal experience I understand that the way this illness behaves with different people is so different. That's what makes it more scary  because you don't know whether  what worked for others will work for you or not.  People talk about patterns, about common symptoms and other commonalities.  The only thing that is constant in all narratives is  the way in which they approache

Tamil Nadu  covid positive numbers 166K number of people recovered   114K yes I am part of the first number.   I am yet to get myself tested again to show that now I am gone over the curve of being positive to fully cured.and truly belong to the second number set too.   But today is the second day without fever and headache and I am pretty confident that I will soon come into that data set too.  We are a household comprising of members who are very old to very young with the ages ranging from 87 to 6 years and all these few months we have been keeping ourselves indoors not going out at all and getting everything door delivered.   All the things coming into the house have a waiting area and time whatever it may be and then only admitted into the house.    It was on the seventh of July the day will definitely be a very memorable day for me as it was the first Rotary club meeting that I am presiding over as 12th President of Rotary

Padma Awards - finding the Richly deserving persons -Shri S Ramakrishnan, Founder Amarseva Foundation

One of my very fist blog posts was on the Awardees of Padma Awards in the yesteryyears.  I used to lament that the awards are mostly going to the persons from Art and Culture background.  Not that it was wrong to give to them, but giving only to them was the issue. But now adays I find that this Government is taking steps to recognize the Really Deserving and Little known Unsung Heroes and giving them the Nation's Highest Awards.  I really salute the Government fot this. Just saw the news item about the 21 Awardees - the one from Tamil Nadu  is Shri  S Ramakrishnan, Founder of Amarseva Foundation.  Sir our salutions and pramans and I am happy that the service that you have been doing to those that need them most is being duly recognized.  Congralutions Sir Shri S. Ramakrishnan, who was normal, was doing his final year at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Amar Mahal City Palace Udaipur

"Born with a silver spoon" denotes a very rich person.  How true this statement is can be experienced in Amar Mahal which is part of the City Palace Udaipur.   From spoons to chess boards to chariots - every other item is made of Silver.   Very very fascinating to watch. Even the earthen pots that are kept as part of the Mandap made for the Indian Marriage ceremony is made of silver and it is funny to take a picture along with the pots
