All India essay competition on Skin Donation

 *Do you know that in India 1 person die in every 4 minutes due to Burn???*


*Do you know Burn is the 2nd largest reason for highest number of Deaths in India after Road Accidents???*


*Do you know we can save the lives of 140000 people every year just by donating our Skin after death???


It is not that People of India afraid of donating Skin, but unfortunately they do not understand the Concept of Skin Donation and Skin Banking.


When a person die, it is not just a person, but the entire family of deceased person ruined. As we know, Skin is the largest human organ. It acts as a shield to protect us from heat and cold, as well as environmental impacts. For patients with severe burn injuries, donated Skin acts as life saver.


Since people are not aware about Skin Donation *Rotary Club of Mumbai Borivali East (RID 3141)*  in collaboration with *more than 200 other Rotary Clubs & NGOs across India* have organized *Rotary Skin Donation Essay Competition* to create awareness in community.
