The essence of any social media platform is to enhance the Social Media presence. LinkedIn emphasizes the concept of Getting Found for your needs.

The topic for the evening would therefore be “LinkedIn: Enhance your Social Media Presence and get found for your needs”.

 We will touch upon the seven building blocks of Social Media. We will focus primarily on two core aspects of LinkedIn, the importance of building and Ideal LinkedIn profile and follow that up with a strategy to Network. 

It is critical to build a LinkedIn profile as this is central to your Linked In experience. Traffic to your LinkedIn page is a function of key words. Hence the profile needs to be built since this will determine the traffic to your page.

Search in LinkedIn is a function of your network. Unless you nurture a proper network, you may never get found for your needs.  All the other features in Linked in are designed to encourage nurturing a network, so that you can get found for your needs. We shall also briefly touch upon all the other features of Linked In. 

As we proceed we shall map the features of LinkedIn to the seven building blocks of Social media.

Thanks to Aravind who wanted me to write about the Temple at thiruvotriyur in chennai. that was one of those days when you get up early in morning and the whole world looks very frustrating and you dont know what to do. it became a God send message to me. So started my preparation to go the temple. I reside in the south chennai and the the Temple is at Thiruvotriyur in North Chennai. and the travel time will be more than 1.30 hours. So we started at 10.30 and reached around 11.45. The temple closes at 12 noon after the mid day pooja. What a divine visit it was. I came back so calm and filled with energy.
