Silence is not only golden but also very powerful

After a long time I have come to my favourite topic - Entrepreneurship. So this time around you are going to meet a very very successful Entrepreneur. What a great personality. Like the title says - He is one of the most silent man with no airs being exhibited, but his achievements are great.
For me success is not a measure of numbers, but it is much more than getting up even when you have gone down. So not only by numbers, but also raising like Phoenix makes this person a very Great person. I am talking about none other than Mohan Subramaniam of Kumaran Software. His company is one of those companies which are poised for great growth in the coming years. But for all this, you cannot find more simple a person than him. I really have to thank the ITSME forum for bringing me close to him.
Mohan's vision is to transform Kumaran into a 10,000 employee Innovative Solution Providing Software Development Company creating value for its employees and customers.
Starting out as a Senior Engineer with Best & Crompton, Chennai where he was managing the Computer Aided Design Centre, from then to MIU Automation Inc., Toronto, Canada as System Analyst and quickly becoming the Project Manager at Info-Power Software Corporation defined his career. From there on he ventured into his own firm along with his two brother to form Kumaran Systems in 1991. The whole family was behind building Kumaran systems to what is today. When he recalled the sacrifices and comprises made by his brothers and his wife in the early stages, I was really very close to tears. I know that great companies are always nurtured by hard sacrifices of the few people in the initial stages.
He played a strategic role in transforming Kumaran into one of the world’s leading application migration software services company. It has been ranked among the Top 500 global software companies (16th annual ranking by Software Magazine) and also ranks among the Top 200 Indian software companies (3rd annual ranking by Dataquest).
From a products company to a services company and then to a solution provider, Kumaran Systems has come a long way. When he unveiled his current strategic focus, I could see that his vision will become true in a very short time period.
But for all his achievements, he is a down to earth person, with genuine affection for people. This is probably his winning formula. It is my great fortune to have him as my friend.
May God give him power to realise his dreams quickly and also be with him all his endeavours. May all his family and his brothers be the most blessed people on Earth.
