Looking through a colored glass

There is this Tamil movie  in which Vadivel the comedian plays a local dhada  role and Madhavan is a youth residing in that locality.  The scene goes on like this, after a few encounters between them :  Madhavan comes out of Vadivel's house and tells a lie that Vadivel is being corrupt or something to that effect.  The whole crowd believes whatever he say despite Vadivel protesting his innocence, where one of the person in the crowd saying aloud that " a white skinned person will not lie".  I was reminded of that scene, when one of our friends was recounting a true happening in US. euthanasia - Part II
